How do you replace battery in 2004 vw beetle?

VW managed to fit the battery in the very last bit of space available. There is a bolt in the front that clamps the front edge down. Once it is unclamped, you'll need to unbolt the power steering reservoir to make room to get it out. If you don't use a "data saver" on the cables, you will need to enter the radio security code and possibly re-adapt the throttle body.
