Why is medical terminology important to a medical assistant?

Without medical terminology a medical assistant would not know what their colleagues are talking about when they give you information on a patient, they would not be able to write in a chart and would not have an overall basic understanding in medicine, this is the basis of the language in medicine, that's why it is essential. It is one of the important language people in the medical facilities should learn as without it, communication and the every day process of the facility just wont work.
