consistant approach means - going by something the same way each time, becuase it was correct the first time.
e.g. - If in a hospital a Doctor Who's he needs to assess a patients needs before he can provide any treatment and any other neccesary teams who can provide assistance, if he comes accross another patient with similar needs - he will know a proportion of what needs to provided to the patient before delivering any other suppliments.
