Ants eat anything they can get there feet on, including fruits, other ants, leaves, crumbs and picnic food!
The way they eat is by their jaws - they feel and sense the food with feelers, pick it up with their gripped jaws, and taken to the nest. They eat it by first turning it into liquid in a special sack behind the jaw, where its strong saliva breaks it down.
