Who was the man killed by the enormous steer in the book A Land Remembered?

It was actually a bull (according to Wikipedia) that was the cause of this man's death. Frog was his name, Frog MacIvey, as he requested to have written on his grave. He died soon after by the same bull that killed Tobias's wife Glenda.
