What type of government did the Mojave Indians have?

The formal government among the Mojave people consisted mainly of a tribal chief who is a leader as well as an adviser. The chief in a descendant from a male line. Other able males serve in the military, which is lead by a war chief. The main religious leaders were men who organized feasts and celebrations and performed ceremonies believed to strengthen the solidarity of the tribe.
