How did the aboriginals cut their hair?

i saw a documentry on this a while ago, aboriginal people (mainly woman) are not hairy people, yes they have underarm hair and bikini hair, the women just pulled out their armpit hair with their fingers and they used a small blade to cut bikini hair. :D awkay i just realized if u mean head hair......... then i think they had sum kind of tradition where the women used some kind of thick paste on the hair to make the hair hard and do some kind of braiding thing.
