Which is easier accounting or finance?

The difficulty is in fact very similar. However, there are some differences depending the type of person you are. Finance tends to require higher levels of mathematical skills and knowledge, it also have more branches. Accounting tends to be more rigid and concrete. It does not necessary require higher levels of mathematics, such as calculus. For professional designations, the level of difficulties is sort of the same, but the finance designations such as the CFA may be slightly harder.
