How do you say your place or mine in French?

There are three different ways to say "my" in French. The way you say it has to agree with the noun in number and gender.

"Mon" is masculine and singular

"Ma" is feminine singular

"Mes is masc./fem. plural

For example, to say my chair, you have to know that the Word for chair in French (chaise) is feminine, and there's only one chair, so you would say "ma chaise" However, to say my chairs (plural), you would say "mes chaises"

Also if you want to to say, "my family," you say,"ma famille" if you are a girl, and "mon famille" if you are a boy. You do not say, "mes famille", that means my famillies.sd
