How Adolf Hitler dead?

Adolf Hitler died in his bunker ("fuhrer-bunker") under Berlin on April 30, 1945.

He shot himself in the head and his new wife Eva Braun took a suicide pill. Their bodies were then taken up to ground level senior SS officers and burnt, so as not to allow to happen to Hitler what happened to Mussolini. (Hitler was appalled by the thought of what happened to his old hero, where Mussolini and his mistress were strung upside down in a piazza in Milan in northern Italy and spat on, etc. by angry mobs.)
