I believe that the song is titled "The Kiss" by Joby Talbot. It's on the soundtrack.

The song that James McAvoy plays on the piano is actually called "Waking Life" by Schuyler Fisk. The song is only featured on Penelope the soundtrack. From what I read, it was re-dubbed just for the movie itself. :) Enjoy!
