Is it possible for both husbands and wife to be in same burial plot?

In general terms, the provisions would have to be made before or at the time of the first burial in order for the plot to be dug either deep or wide enough for two persons. Partly it would also depend on the laws and statutes in the area in which the burial will take place as there are variations.
