Are there any common problems associated with the Chevrolet Avalanche when it is 4x4?

Well, from my research, the most common problems that are found with them is a design flaw that appears in the Transfer case in which it develops a series of pin holes. People who suffer from this then have to pay out a rather sizable sum of money to have it fixed, in the neighborhood of around $1400 to $1800 to fix or replace the transfer case. People who i have read about this from tend to be pretty angry about it too.
