Where did the first king come from?

According to Matthew 2:1, it states, "Now when Jesus was born in hlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came 3 wisemen from the east to Jerusalem.

AnswerActually, there were not 3 wisemen. It says "and came wisemen" It never says 3. People assume that because there were 3 gifts that were brought.
