To become a governor one must have a good education from a respectable school. Stay away from scandal. Don't do anything that you wouldn't want the public to know about. Volunteer as much as possible to get to know people and for them to get to know and like you. Start by running for lower offices, such as a city mayor. Know what problems are facing your state and come up with an agenda. Advertise as much as possible to get your name out there. Lastly, if other politicians say something bad about you take the high road and don't retaliate.
