What is the value of a 2 dollar bill from 1926 1927 1928 1953?

2 dollar bills are still accepted in the united states, its just that the government doesnt make any more... the other day in the movie theatres i saw a lady pull out a bundle of 2 dollar bills and were counting them!! WOW. so practically they are just worth what they are until they arent accepted any more( to buy things)

INCORRECT$2 bills are still being printed and are legal tender. The most recent printing series was released in 2008. Anything dated 1976 or later is worth exactly $2.
