What did the queen mother do?

The Queen Mother gave birth to the Queen, by definition. Most commonly this is a reference to the late mother of the current Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen Mother's name was also Elizabeth. She was not herself Queen, but the consort (i.e. wife) of the Queen's father, King George VI.
