What are the rules in san quentin state prison reception?

Prisoners who are in reception are restricted to non-contact visits (glass partition between prisoner and visitor). The prisoner is escorted in handcuffs by staff to visit. The handcuffs are removed after the prisoner is secured in his or her side of the visiting booth. Non-contact visits are restricted to 3 visitors and limited in time (usually 1 or 2 hours).
