What is a groundsman?

Groundsmen are individuals hired by a company to take care of the landscape surrounding their building. Groundsmen (or Grounds-women) ensure the health of lawns, plants and small structures sometimes used for decoration. They also check for pests and vermin such as termites, ground hogs and other vermin. Groundsman will handle the pests by themselves or by hiring pest control specialists.
