I never had facial hair, only very fine tiny blond hair on my face and neck and in 55 years it's never changed. Even after menopause. Didn't even have the stray hair or two.

Then 9 months ago I began hormone replacement with the bio-identical hormone pellets. Almost 6 months later, I began getting long darker hair on my cheeks, chin, upper lip, and neck. It has been a nightmare! I cannot use the hair removal creams as I have sensitive skin, way to many to pluck or wax so that has only left shaving.

I went to my dermatologist and he prescribe Vaniqa but it's only been a couple of weeks and it takes about 2 months to see a difference ( if it works at all)

My only choice now is to go to an endocrinologist and have ALL my hormones checked, and hope he can help!

I would have never had the HRT had I known this would happen!

Laser is not an option for me as it doesn't work on light hair!

And the hormone replacement work for the first month, after that it's pretty much been a roller coaster ride. I am looking for other types of replacement.

The pellets placed under the skin of your hip are not working for me, they are quickly absorbed, so right after insertion I have to much and in about 3 weeks I have very little.

Need something more consistent and easier to manipulate from day to day etc.

Hope this helps someone make a better decision than I did.

Believe me when I tell you I did my research and talk to several people that had this done, like everything else it works for some and not for others.

Good Luck!
