When Jesus died was he full of our sins?

A:Christians do believe that Jesus died for our sins, to save us, but this is a matter of faith. My answer is no, on several good grounds. Of course, we all die and if there really was a Jesus of Nazareth, he was certain to die. According to the gospels, the death of Jesus was different because he was crucified, but that is a fate that befell thousands of unremembered criminals and troublemakers. If there is no heaven and no hell, then Jesus might have been a good man who died in vain.

It's evident that this world is essentially not interested in why Jesus died... not being privy to God's Truth [or more exactly; not "believing," or having any "faith" in what God's Word says]. People also have different takes on just what sin is. To some, there is no such thing as "sin."

Indeed, Jesus died "the first death that's APPOINTED" to all of us [Heb.9:27]. But, He didn't die a "natural" death. HE WAS MURDERED, by Satan... the master of mankind from whom a persons' faith in Jesus' shed "Divine Blood" PURCHASES him and blots out his sins.

"Then entered Satan into Judas..." (Luke 22:3).

Jesus' Father SACRIFICED HIS SON... so that "those of faith" may be reconciled and redeemed from the god of this world.

Jesus didn't just die.

At present... this redemption is only evident to those whom God is calling, now.

The full impact of it won't be evident until "Judgment Day"... as the completion of the above passage explains:

"...as it is APPOINTED UNTO MEN ONCE TO DIE, but AFTER THIS THE JUDGMENT: So CHRIST WAS ONCE OFFERED TO BEAR THE SINS OF MANY; and UNTO THEM THAT LOOK FOR HIM shall He appear THE SECOND TIME without sin UNTO SALVATION." (Heb.9:27-28)

Fact is... relatively speaking... there aren't that many in this world LOOKING FOR HIM TO APPEAR THE SECOND TIME.

"Jesus dying for our sins" doesn't mean a whole lot to most people. Nor will it until Jesus arrives on earth the Second Time... and "Judgment Day" arrives.

Then, it will take on a whole new meaning to everyone who ever lived, when they face the One who "died for them" and learn that it's the 'SECOND DEATH' from which faith in Jesus' shed blood blots out our sins.

The fact that Jesus "died the First Appointed Death" isn't what's important; but that His "Divine Blood was willingly SACRIFICIALLY shed by God to redeem His creation" from the god of this world.

"Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the First Resurrection: on such THE SECOND DEATH HATH NO POWER..." (Rev.20:6).

The world, indeed, is still wallowing in sin... still unforgiven... because it doesn't "believe" and doesn't have any "faith" in what Jesus has done. And it will continue that way [and get worse] until the One who "died for our sins" appears the Second Time, without sin unto Salvation, to save it.

"FAITH" in the DNA of Jesus' sacrificially poured out Divine blood is what it's all about. Without the gift of God's faith, given to us... Jesus was, as stated above, just another death of another man.

"For it is by Grace you have been saved, THROUGH FAITH -- and this NOT FROM YOURSELVES, it is THE GIFT OF GOD..." (Eph.2:8 NIV).

"...Nevertheless when THE SON OF MAN COMETH, shall He find FAITH on the earth?" (Luke 18:8)

Presently, God isn't giving the "gift of Faith" to the world... but to those whom He's calling out of it.

Jesus did die for our sins -- "For we know that since Christ was RAISED FROM THE DEAD, He CANNOT DIE AGAIN; death no longer has mastery over Him. The death He died, He died to sin ONCE FOR ALL; but the Life He Lives, He lives to God." (Rom.6:9-10)

Only a rare few in the world understand the implications of it, for now. Jesus "dying for our sins" is only the beginning of what He has done. The "Faith" God gives to those whom He is calling makes them understand that "JESUS ISN'T DEAD ANY MORE!"

Although it's "faith" in His blood that "Justifies" men with God -- it's Jesus LIFE THAT SAVES US.

"...we were reconciled to God by THE DEATH OF HIS SON, much more, being reconciled, WE SHALL BE SAVED BY HIS LIFE." (Rom. 5:10)

Faith in a dead man is utter futility and hopelessness. That's where this "faithless" world is at a great disadvantage. It thinks Jesus is just another dead man.
