How many kilometres will a volkswagen jetta gas engine run?

That depends: On my 1.8 L engine I have 800,000 Km. But the care has been VERY well maintained. 250,000 Km is very achievable. If the car is not well maintained expect it to cost you serious $$$$ just to keep it running. VWs like regular service and if neglected they will crush your pocketbook.
