Why is everyone afraid of death?

Everyone is afraid of death because no one knows about it or what it will be like. The only people who know what it's like are dead and they kinda can't tell us. Don't think about it too much or you might scare yourself and never be the same (no offense meant). If you are afraid, talk to someone that won't laugh at you, they will only make it worse. Good luck!
