Stem cells can differentiate into various cell types depending on their classification. Embryonic stem cells can develop into nearly any cell type in the body, including neurons, muscle cells, and blood cells. Adult (or somatic) stem cells, such as hematopoietic stem cells, are more limited and typically differentiate into specific lineages, like blood cells. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) can also be engineered to become any cell type, similar to embryonic stem cells.
