Can you dye your leather jacket at home?

To dye leather, either a water-based or alcohol-based dye should be chosen. The leather surface should be clean from dirt or coating present. The leather should be dampen with water and then the dye should be applied evenly with a clean cloth and allowed to dry. Once dry, the leather should be buffed to remove any excess dye.
