Very few of them are worth much more than face value. A 1955 error cent called a double die is the one standout but the normal version of this date sells for maybe a nickel in average condition.
Among standard issues 1943 steel cents may retail for a quarter to a dollar depending on how worn or corroded they are simply because they're one of the more unusual coins ever made by the US.
Of course uncirculated and proof specimens can be worth anywhere from a quarter to several dollars but they are only available from collectors or dealers.
