Can I get a tubal ligation before age 30?

I had it done at 40 years and it has caused me nothing but problems. Pain, irregular bleeding, hormonal issues and more. After having it done my doctor told me that if I would have just waited a few more years I wouldn't have been fertile anyway and I could have saved myself the trouble. My advice is to get an IUD. That way if you have any problems you can have it removed after surgery. The IUD insert is totally no big deal, and it was no big deal to remove either. Good luck.
