1997 Mercedes Benz s500 were is the air filter?

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side of engine compartment , the long plastic cover that runs across the back must be removed. the engine air filter is under the black engine cover that has the Benz logo. You flip the cover and there are usually two filters left and right and the bottom covers unscrew from top to reveal the filters. hope this help. written by Euro Image Orlando FL.
