What parts of the carrots are used for propagation?

Carrots are typically propagated using seeds rather than parts of the plant. However, in some cases, the tops of the carrots, known as the greens or foliage, can be used to grow new plants. By placing the carrot tops in water, they can sprout new leaves, but this method won't produce a new carrot root.
