A boarder is a person who receives regular meals when staying somewhere, in return for payment or services or a person who takes part in a sport using a board, such as Surfing or Snowboarding.

A border is a line separating two political or geographical areas, especially countries or the edge or boundary of something.

Boarders are people, borders are things.
