How Andrew Jackson got the nickname long knife?

The Native Americans called him "Sharp Knife" because during his career he and his army killed thousands of Natives.

his army had Indians in it. with that said he made Indians sign away millions of acres at the same time making those Indians that helped him in his army sign away their lands to him.
