Who was a failure in every endeavor except the military?

Well, darling, that would be good ol' Napoleon Bonaparte. He may have been a flop in pretty much everything else, but when it came to the military, he sure knew how to strut his stuff. So, let's give credit where credit is due, even if the guy couldn't catch a break in anything else.
