I would say yes. Boys have a better sence of space and tend to recall better dimentions and distance. To put an image of an object on a paper you need to understand the proportions and how they change acording to the orientation of the objet. It is a very complex task. A proof that boys are better than girls at drawing can be seen in comics and the animation industry, the majority of draftsmans and directors are male.
