How do you draw letters so that they look recessed?

Well, an interesting question here....A lot would depend on how big you wanted the letters.....But the easiest way is to do the letters in a grey scale and then do a thin line to the rt. or lt. of it and bottom or top....This is actually called drop shadow shading, but it works for me Hope this helps....TatuBaron
