What is happening with TVs in 2009?

On February 17, 2009 most all of the analog TV transmitters will be shut off as the country migrates over to an all digital signal. If you don't have a digital tuner on your TV (or cable or a satellite receiver like DirecTV, Dish Network or something similar) all you'll get is snow on your screen. This applies only to the over the air' television signals which require a receiving antenna to watch your local television stations.
