What paints did Salvador Dali use on 'Melting Clocks'?

It has been said that he used Blockx; a family business brand of high quality that has been made in Belgium for over 100 years.

They actually quote Dali on their website, as he praised the creator of the paints Jacques Blockx in his 1944 book '50 Secrets of magic craftsmanship' for a list he compiled on the perfect colours for artistic painting.

It must be said that however, nowhere in the book does it state what paints he actually used, although he does refer to individual colours in detail; many of which aren't available from Blockx.

The truth is likely to be he used a mixture of different brands.
