What do RN start off making?

Depends on where you live and the Demographics of each region where RN's are employed for work. RN's who work for hospitals make considerably more than nurses who work for clinics or private offices, but then again, you became an RN for the unbeatable job security, and not the high pay. My brother's fiancee makes 36 an hour as an RN, my other brother's girlfriend, (I have two brothers), makes about 40,000 a year, but she was making more when working at a hospital.
