How do you tease a girl to let her know that you really like her?

If you really like a girl you should just tell her, I worked with this girl for months before I told her and I was always over at her desk talking and basically wanting to be near her. This was obivous to others and probably her but she says if I hadn't asked her out she would not have approached me. So just ask her out, you can only have 2 answers a yes or a no and you can move on. Or you could do this. I am a girl and I know this by fact. All of the guys who teased me like they joked around with me or they did stupid things when I was around-they liked me-you can act funny, say jokes that doesnt make her think that you hate her-that will make her hate you-but most of the time, boys just tell the truth. I mean, some girls have experience about things like this, but some dont, so just say things that dont offend her or just tell her the truth. If she smiles around you and stuff, most likely she likes you back!
