What shrubs bloom in May?

Some flowers that bloom in May in the US include tulips, daffodils, lilacs, sages, pansies, star hasmines, mock Oranges, dogwoods, and speedwalls. Granted, certain species of May flowers are found only in certain states. Roses may begin to bloom in May, but they more commonly bloom in June.
