How can you remove dye on a quilt if a fabric bleeds?

First you want to put pressure on the wound to stop it from bleeding. Take it to the emergency room and get it some stitches. After its all said and done, remove the dye by soaking it in warm water 30 to 40 minutes and then iron it really really well. After that stick it in your dryer for two hours. Thank you
