What are the rules of having a purity ring?

It's more of a personal commitment of promising yourself to god and the person you will marry. No one has to write down their personal promise, but it's always cool to write down when you did promise to yourself to wait for sex after marriage and see how long it's been. Pledging your purity is the most honorable thing you can do for yourself and your walk with God.
