How often do you change your fuel filter on your 2000 Toyota 4 runner?

As long as you are putting quality fuel into the tank the in-line filter will last quite a while. I had 100,000 miles on my stock filter with no problems and when I changed it at the 10 year mark the fuel came out clean. So 10 years or 100,000 miles is my advise
