How do you defrag a compaq presario?

The process is quite simple:

For Windows Vista / 7:

1. Enter the start menu and show all programs

2. Navigate to Accessories > System Tools

3. Run the Disk Defragmenter program

4. You then choose the hard disk you want to defragment and press the Defragment Disk button

If you are unsure whether a drive requires fragmenting, select the drive and press Analyze Disk.

You can also set your drives to automatically fragment at certain times, this is quite convenient and can save you time. Just press the configure schedule button above the drive list to configure the times.

For Windows XP:

1. Open My Computer.

2. Right-click the hard disk that you want to defragment, and then click

Properties
