How has the Citrus industry changed?

After years of bitter struggle and the farmers being left with a sour taste in their mouth it is indeed ripe to suggest the bad years have passed. Changed occurred during the great Lemon debate in 1952, which was held in orchard street. Here, it was agreed after pithy debate that large green houses should be built to save all citrus fruits from extinction. To this very day we pay our gratitude to this grape ( sorry, great ) meeting
