Why does the engine light Illuminate in 1994 eti daewoo racer?

this may be due to the climate u live in.the thermostat(thermal sensor) may need to be taken out.there is no need to replace it if u live in a tropical country.if u r in a cold country u may want to purchase a lancer thermostat and put it in.i think ure thermostat is located in the radiator.i also need sum advise plz contact me at othneil_r@hotmail.com
