How do you open a stuck power trunk lock on a 2003 Subaru Forester?

Try to open it by climbing in the back and reaching in with a finger and pushing up on the latch. If this works spray the lock mecanism with wd-40. If it does not work then try spraying the lock on the outside. Good Luck
