When did the first pizza rolls start selling in stores?

The question should say 'When were' not 'When was.' One would think they were not invented until the late 90's or early 2000's. In an episode of that 70's show, Fez ate a Pizza roll. It was from one of the latest seasons, assuming that they were invented sometime in the late 1970's.
