He was invited by Enlil for reconciliation. In a Thanksgiving ceremony on Mars infront of Dak soldiers, a canus priest stabbed him in the neck. The priest was instantly killed like a lone nut.

Enki was buried together with the body of Zeus somewhere near the so called face on Mars.
