'hs2' ??? Have you got this correct. Should it be H2S.,which is hydrogen sulphide. .

The are three atoms in H2S

2 x H = 2 x hydrogen

1 x S = 1 x sulphur.

hydrogen sulphide has the smell of 'rotten eggs', which is the gas that rotten eggs give off.
