Is IBM a good laptop

I have an IBM Thinkpad (R40e). My impression is that it is reliable, but can get bogged down fairly easily. The newer IMB laptops I have tried seem better, but also seem like they could use better processes.

In all, IBM is good, but I suggest you also look into HP and DELL.
